| A wide range of solutions are available to overcome most access problems, from simple kerb stones to a more complex flight of steps. The standard access ramps are designed to meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010, by creating a safe and conforming gradient.
The range of standard ramps are exceptionally versatile. You can have a smooth moulded side-up stand, colour contrasting slip resistant surface and optionally fitted single or double handrails. By combining sections from the range of standard ramps with the addition of level platforms and joining plinths, more complex systems can be produced to enable access where a single ramp is insufficient. Folding ramps can be easily handled, quickly located for use and folded away for storage. Smooth corners prevent damage to upholstery when sliding in and out of vehicles. Where thresholds on UPVC and external doors can create access difficulties, one of the three designs of threshold ramps we can provide will give a safe and simple solution. |
